Why Material Prices Might Fluctuate (And Why We’re Still All In on Quality)

At Crown Roofing, we’ve always believed in doing things the right way—even if that way isn’t the fastest or the cheapest. We use materials we believe in and craftsmanship your grandpa would be proud of. So, when something changes in the supply world, we want you to hear it from us first.

Recently, we received a notice from our main supplier about potential price increases tied to government tariffs on imported materials. These changes affect everything from roofing shingles and siding to windows and insulation. Manufacturers that rely on raw materials from outside the U.S. are seeing increased costs, and unfortunately, those increases can happen quickly and with little notice.
Here’s what that means for you:
You might see slight changes in pricing between the time we quote a job and the time materials are delivered.
BUT—we stand by our quotes for 2 weeks. That’s on us. Once you sign the contract, your price is locked in.
We’re not here to play games. When you’re dedicated to us (contract in hand), we’re dedicated to you. Period.
We’ll keep you in the loop—we’re not about surprises when it comes to your roof.
We’re still committed to quality materials that are built to last, even if it costs a bit more.
We know times are tough for a lot of our neighbors, and we don’t take it lightly when you invest in a new roof or exterior project.
We’re going to keep doing what we do best:
✅ Straight talk.
✅ No cheap shortcuts.
✅ Work that stands the test of time.
If you have questions about a quote or want to know more about how pricing might shift, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to walk you through it.
Thanks for trusting Crown Roofing. We’re proud to be your local crew.
